KCAI offers quality and challenging fine arts programs which range from ceramics, fiber and sculpture to photography, digital filmmaking and printmaking to painting, courses that develop a far-reaching passion anchored in time-honored studio techniques. The instructors in our fine arts programs assist students as they develop a range of highly creative skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional artist. Interdisciplinary Arts
Art is about individual expression, so it only follows that unique artistic visions deserve unique study tracks. The interdisciplinary arts major at KCAI is an option for students who wish to integrate diverse interests in their work. Students can apply for this major and, if accepted, will work with the department chair to tailor their coursework and graduate in interdisciplinary arts.
